How To Make a GOOD Smoothie ? When it comes to drinks one of my favorite go to's are smoothies. Not only are you getting your daily dosage of a full spectrum of vitamins & minerals, they also taste amazing. But if your not used to making your own smoothies, it can be a daunting task. What you need ! Fruit: When it comes to smoothies it comes down to two things, the minerals you getting and the taste. Taste comes down to proper food combination. When making smoothies putting in less fruit is better than putting all of your fav
orite fruits in a smoothie. This is because the don’t combine well, because of different digestion times. So many you make a smoothie like this it might not taste good as a smoothie that has a less amount of different fruits. Greens: When it comes to smoothies what I love about adding leafy greens in smoothies, they go mostly with all fruit smoothies. When you add them to smoothies they taste great (for those scared of the green color) and a tasty way to get your daily greens in for the day. Protein: Smoothies are a great way to get plant based proteins. Foods like nuts, seeds, and even beans are a great source of protein, you can add to your diet whether you are trying to lose weight or build muscle ! Healthy Fats:
Not all Fats are made equally ! Fats are your friend ! We need healthy in order to maintain optimal health. Good sources of fat are coconut oil, organic olive oil, black seed oil, hemp oil, avocado, and many more plant based fats. What we want to stay from is trans fat, that fat is not are friend. It is what leads to dietary diseases because it contaminates our body. Foods that are high in trans fat are fried foods, meat and diary. Which is the main culprit when it comes to dietary related diseases and health issues. Liquid : Finally what do yo
u use to blend your smoothies ? We recommend using teas, any nut or seed milk, or any natural fruit juice. Definitely stay away from any unnatural pasteurized juice or milk. If you didn’t make the juice yourself or in a juice bar it’s unnatural and full of excess sugar and preservatives to extend the shelf life of the drink, not for your well being but for their bottom line $$$. Take your health into your own hands. Supplements: For the most part stay away from supplements unless you can 100% know what that product is. Most of these protein powders are toxic. A better source to use are nuts, seeds, and beans. When it comes to supplementation we recommend sticking to Sea-Moss, which has 91% of the daily bodies minerals per serving.
